This is a new series where we show off our fitness outside the box! We will be planning small trips to various recreation spots in our area to enjoy being fit and trying new things. This is a great opportunity to take what we train for inside the gym and use it for other activities while having fun as a group.
Our next trip will be on Saturday July 15th at Jordan Lake giving Stand Up Paddle Boarding a try! An ultimate test of balance and stability and a great excuse to play in the water.
CrossFit ShooFly presents our July Friday Night Lights Fundraising event. Doors open at 6:30pm and the workout will begin at 7:00pm. This month we will be raising money for Vets to Vets United. Vets To Vets United, Inc., consists of local veterinarians and volunteers working together to provide companion, therapeutic, and service animals, and discounted veterinary care to our U.S. Military Veterans suffering from loneliness, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and physical disabilities.
Saturday June 10th we will be having another Community WOD! Bring your friends and your friends' friends out to CrossFit Shoofly for a great beginner friendly workout and have fun with our awesome community.

Join us on Memorial Day, May 29th at 9:30am to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrafice in protecting our country. "Murph" is a Hero workout dedicated to Michael "Murph" Murphy who was killed in Afghanistan June 2005. This workout was one of his favorites and was then named after him. We go through this workout together in honor of Murph and the many like him.
It is great to have a cookout and enjoy the day; however, why not start the day with giving your effort in a brutal workout to show gratitude and respect for what they have done for us.
